On the eve of the Mother’s Day, Lisa, a kindergarten teacher, learns that one of the boys named Vanya doesn't have parents. He was admitted to the kindergarten under a special program for orphans. The New Year is approaching, and Lisa decides to help Vanya take part in the New Year’s festive event. She does not know yet how important this boy will become for her.
